Transition to the Secondary Division While participation in previous summers' Elementary Division is acknowledged, articulation between the ED and SD is not automatic. It is important for students and their families to keep this in mind, as there are always more applications from highly qualified students than spaces to accommodate them. Former ED students applying to the SD must demonstrate continued academic achievement as well as good work habits and citizenship.
