: Here's a useful utility, RTFtoHTML2.7.5 that can automatically convert text documents into HTML. What you do is save any text document as RTF (Rich Text Format) -- MS Word has this option -- then drag the resulting document onto the RTFtoHTML icon. Fastest results (by about 15 seconds) -- Group II (but none of the answers were links!) Second fastest and most complete (9 answers) -- Group I (but one of the answers was wrong) Most correct answers (9 correct out of 10) -- Group V (but only 2 of the links worked -- HTML typed in allcaps!) Most aesthetically pleasing HTML doc -- Group VI (but it was e-mailed quite a bit after the finishing time!) And the winner is: Group I.

: Just about everyone showed up for class, except for Srini and Carlos. Carlos is at a State soccer championship, while Srini is still driving in from Arizona. Interestingly, 2 pairs of friends were late to class: Patrick and Jake were told to go to another building on campus (!), and Mayra and Diana had some school function in the morning and couldn't make it to Berkeley in time for class. Otherwise, everything went well, and everyone (finally) is here in the flesh. Funny... the class is real quiet so far, quite unlike the e-mail personas I've known!Friday, June 7:
